I had every intention of trying the new drinks at Mickey D's... until I started seeing these dippy commercials that make fun of pseudo-elists sipping at Starbucks. Gimme a break.
The unsnobbycoffee.com Web site does have a coupon for a free drink, so you bet I'm going to go in and check it out with my very sophisticated palate. Geez. Can't we all just get along?

Well, McDonald's wouldn't have made it very far if they had to market their food based solely on its quality, instead of as an experience.
For that matter, neither would Starbucks.
The McCafe billboard with "Large is the new Grande" made me chuckle, but I won't be hanging out in a McDonald's anytime soon.
Aw, and it's not available in SF yet. I was looking forward to a free drink, too.
