Eat your heart out!

This just in:

This Valentine’s Day (aka Single’s Awareness Day) Pagliacci will offer customers free artichoke hearts as a topping. The hearts will be available on whole pies or by the slice from Pagliacci’s 15 delivery kitchens and six pizzerias. For more information or to order pizza, call (206) 726-1717 in Seattle or (425) 453-1717 on the Eastside, or visit www.pagliacci.com.

What's on your Valentine's Day menu?

I'm cooking. Something red. From Nonna's Kitchen. If I can find that darned cookbook!

Sadly, we're not eating anything special. Payday isn't until tomorrow.

Correction: we got delivery from Room Service of Marin. I had navratan korma with onion kulcha. Yum! And without leaving my apartment!

Kristie, I am glad to hear there was a happy ending to your day! Hooray!

I ended up making meatloaf, and it was a huge hit!

Oh, there's nothing like a good meatloaf! I haven't made one in ages. I did make some chateaubriand cooked in pinot noir and butter with shallots and mushrooms with mashed potatoes and some fresh asparagus (sauteed in butter and lemon juice) last night, though. I think the hubby thought he was in heaven. And that's likely my beef intake for the next two weeks.

We had our nice romantic dinner on Friday, the day after V-day. He picked me up from work in SF and we went out to the Crab House on Pier 39. I even turned off my Blackberry :)
